About job
In this role you will be responsible for all the accounting for Addressya HQ and field offices in East Africa. Youwill report to the Finance Manager and support the smooth running of finance and compliance at Addressya. You will develop processes and procedures, and implement systems that support the needs of our growing business.
Key responsibilities
Daily Accounting for Sweden and local markets in East Africa
Ensure the integrity of accounting information and instant availability of accounting information
Gather all necessary reports and detailed support both periodically and on-demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss
support both periodically and on-demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, revenue forecasts, budgets, and cash-flow statements
Perform monthly bookkeeping reports for Sweden & local markets
Manage the invoicing & bookkeeping process
Support in performing financial analysis, P&L forecast and budget process.
Prepare and manage payments in Sweden and other markets
Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to verify all entries have been created and posted, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and cohesiveness of information
Skills and experience
Relevant education and minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
Excellent command of written and spoken English (Swedish is a plus)
Strong analytical ability
Experience from accounting within international companies
Excellent time-management and organisational skills (meet deadlines)
Relevant experience from an international company
This is a 6 months contract and part-time position of between 15-20 hrs per week. There may be a possibility of full-time in the future. The place of work is the company’s headquarters in Stockholm. At the moment we mostly work from home.
