Accounting Controller to Lindex

Do you have previous work experience of accounting and likes to develop solutions to improve efficiency? Are you a team player who thrives on accuracy and structure? We are looking for an Accounting Controller to our head office located in the heart of Gothenburg (at the Central station!)

Your role in our team. You are part of our Finance department and the accounting team. You make sure the accounting processes for Lindex Division is the best possible. In your role you handle the monthly closing for Lindex legal entities, including reporting of VAT, statistic, declarations, annual reports and Treasury related processes.

You work close to your colleagues keeping regular contact with different areas of the organisation, as well as local accounting and payroll supplier, local authorities, and auditors. You also support colleagues in the organisation when it comes to different accounting related questions and participate in internal projects.

This is a substitute position until September 2025.

University degree within Accounting/Finance or equivalent
Previous work experience within Accounting and monthly closing
Good knowledge of accounting principles and analytical ability
Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious: work experience from audit firm or/and company within retail is qualifying
