Accounting Economist - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Economist who is experienced in accounts payable and can strengthen our client's team during the summer.

What you'll do:
● Assist Finance function in Monthly Management and Statutory Reporting requirements for local and regional management.
● Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payments for all the customer's groups' companies.
● Participate in the closing and reporting process together with the Accounting Manager, recurring bookkeeping, VAT filing, reconciling accounts, accruals and accrued income.
● Maintain updated accounting databases by performing systematic data entry in the accounting system.
● Process complex accounting transactions. Collect, analyse and interpret accounting records for book-keeping purposes.
Who you are:
● Have around 4-8 years of experience as a consultant in the relevant field and be used to leading groups.
● Have educational background in finance or accounting and 4+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
● Good administrative skills, a careful eye for detail and can prioritize and focus on the most important tasks at the moment.
● Ability to plan, coordinate and execute the month-end close schedule, including timeline development and preparation of balance sheet reconciliation.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
