Assignment description

As Accounting Manager - finance systems you will play a key role in leading and contributing to initiatives to improve finance data flows and related processes and controls, including providing key strategic direction and appraisal and recommendation of potential solutions from an accounting and reporting
perspective. These initiatives will be a key priority for the Financial & Regulatory Reporting domain through 2022 and this role will therefore include interaction with senior Finance leaders.

Tasks and responsibilities

- Development of API and metrics platforms for APIs and endpoints for acquiring sources
- Development of CI / CD
- Performance test & automation
- Operations of platforms
- Development of services for metrics collection and aggregation






Required Skill-set

- University A degree from a university in a numerate subject (e.g. Economics, Science, Engineering or Business)

- 5-7 + years of accounting and finance experience

- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team

- Strong conceptual and problem solving ability, strong attention to detail and stick to find the root cause and solve it. Ability to make key data design decisions, understanding accounting and operational and data process considerations.


- Background in financial processes and process improvement


- Excellent inter-personal skills, including influencing at all levels within the business
Proven ability to work as a lead and subject matter expert as part of a cross functional team
