Accounting Manager
Getinge Group is in an exciting and intensive period of change and we are looking for a solution-oriented Accounting Manager who wants to take part in this exciting journey. You will be part of our Finance team, supporting the business controller and the shared service center EMEA. The position offers you a great opportunity to join a small collaborative team where you get a high insight of a big variety of accounting and reporting tasks and where you have the possibility to influence and make a difference. You will interface with a wide variety of stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.

The position
In this position you will mainly be responsible for the legal company of Getinge Infection Control AB. The main objective of this position is deliver accurate and reliable figures in the most efficient way possible. You will be working with the ongoing reporting according to Group guidance and the annual reporting according to law and regulations. As a member of Finance Control Center of Excellence (FCCOE) in Getinge, you will in the long term contribute to making the financial processes more efficient and common between the companies. You will interface with different stakeholders such as auditors, Group Finance, center responsibles, Finance directors and Shared Service Center in Poland.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

•Responsible liaison for the cooperation with the Shared Service Center in Poland
•Improve the financial processes together with other members of FCCOE
•Taking part in the monthly and annual reporting process
•Secure the financial result and that laws and regulations are followed
•Responsible for the timely and accurate declaration of taxes and VAT
•Take part of solving other ad hoc tasks within the finance area

The position is located in Getinge outside Halmstad. Since the tasks are mainly done locally in Getinge, limited travel is required in this role.




The ideal candidate
The person we are looking for is working as an accounting manager today, preferably in a large company with local and group functions. You are used to interact with many different stakeholders.

Some of your key characteristics include:

•Minimum 3 years of working experience within accounting, preferably from a large industry
•Strong knowledge in accounting policies
•University degree within finance, accounting, economics and/or auditing or comparable education
•Knowledge of tax declarations and VAT
•Advanced knowledge in Excel and different IT systems is required
•Fluent Swedish and English skills, both written and spoken

As a person you are a positive and flexible team-player who drives results and takes responsibility. You have an ability to communicate efficiently and to handle multi-tasking. An analytical mindset, a good sense of structure and an ability to meet deadlines are key factors in order to succeed in this role. Being used to working in a changing environment is also important.
