What you´ll get to do (but not limited to)
Full ownership of building, developing the accounting function for the group (EU & US)
Developing a company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows, and methods after consultations with CFO
Educate teams and fellow employees about existing and new policies and procedures
Managing Payroll
Responsible for bookkeeping processes and general ledger
Ensure compliance within the responsibility of the function (statutory reporting, VAT, and tax)
Few things you’ll need to be successful:
You feel comfortable with bookkeeping and monthly closing
Ideally you have previously worked in an international scale-up environment.
Basic knowledge about corporate tax and VAT rules and regulations including submissions
A genuine interest in building a reporting and accounting function
A global mindset and a will to grow & learn
Strong collaboration and communication skills - acting as a real team player with the ability to communicate at all levels
