We are looking for a driven leader to one of our teams in Industrial Operations Accounting Services, within Corporate Control, located in Södertälje.
The Industrial Operations Accounting Services
The IO Accounting Services, established in 2019, is aiming be an agile and efficient finance organization that can meet both future business and employee needs through harmonization and digitalization. Transformation of the accounting organization through a substantial change program started in 2019 and has resulted in new support tools and will enable work in harmonized processes.
The IO Accounting Services shall provide qualitative Accounting services to business units within Industrial Operations Europe for the accounting processes;
• General Accounting & Reporting
• Fixed Assets
• Projects
• Business Information Management including Master Data
• Inventory & Material Accounting
What is your responsibility
In this role you will be responsible for the General Accounting & Reporting processes for a number of units and in particular work with Scania CV AB. You will be accountable for deliverables towards the local finance organizations and lead your team by delegating and prioritizing activities in the daily accounting operations. You and your team will also work with continuous improvement through process development.
Substantial part of your role is related to the legal unit Scania CV AB and your team is involved in several deliveries for this entity.
You will contribute in the strategic work in order to realize the IO Accounting Services objectives as well as assuring work in accordance with established KPIs, standards, procedures and applicable laws.
You will report to the Head of IO Accounting Services and will be part of the IO Accounting Services management team.
What are we looking for
A person with proven leadership skills and a genuine passion to support the change program during next year and to drive continuous improvement within the area of Accounting. You have a strong ability to motivate and coach others.
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate that has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Economics aswell as relevant work experience with a minimum of 5 years. You have relevant knowledge from Accounting & Reporting processes together with an understanding of IFRS principles and Swedish GAAP. You have leadership and management experience. In this role you need good communication and presentation skills as well as being fluent in English. You also need to have a good knowledge in Swedish.
