What you do
As the Manager of Accounting and Financial Controller, you manage a team of two direct reports and are responsible for all traditional accounting and financial control processes, including accounting, monthly closing, annual reporting, maintaining financial practices and tax. However, the role and expectations go beyond this. You have mandate to set the agenda and roadmap for the function, to design, build, and optimize ways of working, systems, and reporting in close collaboration with the Director of Financial Control and division controllers. You proactively identify and solve the needs of tomorrow and work closely with our financial back-end team to increase automation, accuracy, and efficiency.
The location for this position is the World Trade Center in Stockholm. You will follow a hybrid working schedule and are included in a large-scale global collaboration mainly supported by the digital arena.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s in business, accounting, or economics. And combined with your academic background, you have practical experience as a financial controller, head of accounting, accounting manager or auditor. You have good knowledge of the IFRS standards, consolidation, transfer-pricing and tax and experience from running improvement projects in a global organization. Experience from leading a team is a plus. You also have an interest in the tech-side of things, like data and systems, and beneficial to this role is experience in OneStream and SAP/4Hana. You’re fluent in English, in both written and verbal form.
You’re curious, sociable, and flexible in nature – skilled in human interactions as well as stakeholder management – and you combine this with excellent analytical abilities. You’re known for balancing independence with teamwork, as a true doer, you prioritize tasks and follow up on our work – making sure we reach timely results with high quality. You have a confident and engaging approach, and you always embrace feedback, new perspectives and sharing knowledge with others.
