Sellpy is the leading selling service and e-commerce for second hand goods in Sweden. Due to our fast and solid growth, we are looking for our first ever Accounting & Payroll Manager for our headquarter in Stockholm as part of a friendly and hard-working team.
This is a brand new role providing a fantastic opportunity to be part of shaping the future of Sellpy as we’re now insourcing our accounting & payroll. As the accounting & payroll manager, you will be handling the daily bookkeeping, financial entries and reconciliations. You will also be responsible for handling and improving the monthly payroll process.
The Accounting & Payroll Manager is part of the Financial Team and reports to the Financial Controller / Head of Accounting.
What you will do:
- Posting transactions and ensuring legal requirements compliance
- Maintaining records of financial transactions
- Defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Preparing and filing tax/VAT reports
- Complying with legal requirements and advising management on needed actions
- Preparing and creating annual financial statements
- Assisting with year-end financial audit activities
- Paying and keeping record of invoices
- Assisting with reconciling company credit card spending
- Handling the monthly payroll process
Your qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting
- A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Excellent communication in Swedish and English
- Experience in payroll administration and related software (e.g. Visma)
We are impressed if you have:
- Experience of K3 accounting standard
- Highly skilled in Excel/Google Sheets
- Knowledge within SQL
