Accounting Specialist, Controller/System Specialist and Accountant

Based in Falun, Sweden, with 22 subsidiaries around the world and more than 1000 employees globally, Dellner continues with its steady, robust growth in couplers, gangways, front hatches, dampers and crash energy management, as well as the service segment of the rail industry.

In 2019 Dellner Couplers was acquired by EQT, a Swedish private equity company. Quality and prompt delivery will remain our number one focus along with our relationship with the car builders and operators in all regions. Strategic investments in the expansion of our existing product portfolio and new product areas like freight and digitalization will also get our full attention during the coming year, insuring our place as market leader.

The Finance function at Dellner´s headquarter in Falun (Vika) has embarked an exiting journey since EQT came onboard with adopting management reporting to new owners’ requirement and change accounting standard to IFRS. Now we are at the next steps on our journey with all from improving internal controls to further develop our finance function. At the same time two of our “long timers” will retire within short.

We are now looking for three candidates to strengthen our team. Overall, we are looking for the following profiles, but the positions may be adapted depending on the individual candidate:

Accounting Specialist

Your background should preferably be from working some years within accounting in a multisite/global company and with experience from ERP system and core business processes. Alternatively, you have a background within audit or process consulting and thereby have gathered knowledge of process flows within accounting processes. Good communication skills, a structured way of working and ability to independently take lead in our internal control project is necessary for this role.

Process mapping within our core businesses have been performed and you will continue the mapping of our subsidiaries, further implement the control package, and as well continuously ensure compliance to secure a sustainable control environment. In addition to the internal control project, you will perform other accounting tasks within Finance including participation in an IPO readiness project.

Controller/System specialist

Ideally your background is within controlling or accounting. You have a good and deep understanding of ERP system setups, and preferably you have worked with consolidation systems and interfaces to other business systems. You will be an important contributor to continued development of a demanding system support for a complex and global business. Participation in several development projects in the coming years are to be expected.

Accountant

The ideal job for a “young and hungry” finance person who preferably have few years of experience within accounting. Accounts payable related tasks will be your main focus, but as Accountant you will have the opportunity to participate and develop in a broad range of financial tasks. Example of tasks on your desk would be support to subsidiaries, system administration and project support, reconcile accounts and prepare accountings for monthly and yearly closing, VAT accounting and reporting.

Personal skills and experience 

For all positions you will be working towards a global organization, and English is our group language. Common for all three positions are also that you have relevant academic education in finance for the position and some years of work experience within finance. We focus a lot on personal qualities and look forward to meet candidates with a positive attitude, service-oriented mindset and with a high level of integrity. Important is also to have analytical skills and to participate in the finance departments goals- and result oriented work to constantly improve the “financial level” internally at Dellner.
