Accounting Specialist, Oracle Application

Swedbank is about to take a technological and functional leap from several legacy and on-premise accounting solutions to Oracle Cloud. You will be part of creating the new solutions together with Swedbank´s experts and Oracles top consultants. The accounting solution is critical for Swedbank’s operations, handling a wide range of financial instruments. Your primary work tool will be Oracle Financials Cloud (SaaS).

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

- Configure the solution to support efficient processes for Finance Operations, including closing process.
- Ensure capabilities for daily application operations, including monitoring and reconciliation.
- Configure accounting rules for a wide range of financial transactions and events in the solution, in collaboration with Accounting experts.
- Create, present and maintain application documentation.
- Ensure business needs are delivered by participation in test.


What is needed in this role:

- Knowledge of financial accounting.
- Interest and knowledge of modern accounting systems, preferably from Oracle.
- Technical interest and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to communicate well in written and oral English.
- Relevant University degree and/or equivalent competence.
