Vacancy announcement – Accounts Clerk
The Embassy of the Republic of Zambia requires the services of an Accounts Clerk on contract basis.
The applicant should have a minimum qualification of a Certificate or Diploma in Accounting and Finance or any related field of study. The applicant should be conversant with the Swedish Tax Laws and Regulations and computer literate, as well as a minimum of 2 years’ experience. The applicant should also be able to write and speak English and Swedish fluently.
A brief job description is outlined below:
a. Preparation of payment vouchers for Embassy bills, salaries and rentals;
b. Preparation of various accounting returns as per required deadlines; These include: monthly revenue collection, Visa returns, Bank Reconciliations, Backing Sheets and Expenditure Returns.
c. Preparation of VAT returns for the Embassy and the Diplomatic staff.
d. Preparation of annual financial returns and,
e. Any other assigned duties.
