Main responsibilities
As Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be part of Benify’s Finance department and work in a larger team of 12 employees who are divided into: Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable and Payroll. Together with 2 colleagues, you constitute the AP team, which is responsible for Accounts payable in the Group's companies, both Swedish and foreign.
In this position you will also:
• Loading of supplier invoices for certification flow
• Bank payments and report back on them
• Self-invoice management based on orders in our benefits portal
• Contract management
• Accrual/reservation of costs
• Reconciliation and documentation at final accounts, both monthly and annually
• Support other departments at Benify
• On a daily basis, handle incoming issues from other teams at Benify, suppliers and partners
• Continuous development and improvements of processes and routines. You are expected to initiate and/or take lead in digitization projects, together with your team, other teams at Benify as well as with external system partners

To succeed as Accounts Payable Accountant, you have a “can-do” attitude and the ability to prioritize your work tasks based on the business needs and to work towards deadlines. You are outgoing and willing to learn, while being independent and able to work proactively. The role holds many administrative tasks and manual processes of various kinds, which is why we see that you are prestige less and value even the smallest tasks on an ongoing basis. You carry out your tasks meticulously, but are also perceptive for shifting focus to solve more urgent tasks. Benify are on a growth journey, where everyday life is changing, so you enjoy constantly developing and improving processes and routines. In this part of your work, it is important that you have a great interest in systems. Furthermore, you have good social skills and appreciate contact with suppliers as well as colleagues, as you have many contact areas of different kinds and for different purposes. You are a wonderful colleague who thrives working in a team and spreads positive energy with a solution-oriented attitude regardless of task.
We also see that you have:
• University- or polytechnic degree in economics
• 1-3 years’ experience from a similar role
• Experience of business systems, preferably NAV that we are using at Benify
• Good knowledge and an overall interest in systems, especially in Excel
• Professional language proficiency in Swedish and English, written and spoken
• Experience or interest in project management is meritorious
