Gunnebo Cash Management, a business unit in the Gunnebo Group, is now setting up a new Financial Shared Service Centre to support Gunnebo Cash Management units in Europe. Positioned in Gunnebo Nordic AB, this is a new and exciting position within the company. We are now looking for an Accounts Payable accountant that will take a key role ensuring that the AP processes fulfills the company’s financial policies efficiently and actively work with internal improvements.

In this position you will also get the chance to develop your leadership qualities and within a year, there is a big chance that you can move on to the role of Account Payable Team lead for Shared Service Finance.
Key responsibilities:
In charge of data entry, validation, and processing of all various types of invoices
Review, validate and reconcile invoice and PO discrepancies
Responsible to communicate deviations between PO’s and relevant vendor invoices for timely mitigation
Standardize and actively work with process improvement within AP department
Be active on the customer service front and be quick and accurate with communication
Actively train, and supervise new and existing staff as needed
Assist with other accounting related tasks within the SSF department when needed

It is important that you are driven by taking a holistic approach and ownership of the accounts payable processes, where you also have built your deep knowledge. As the center continuously expands, you will take the lead- not only to make the transition successful, but also to constantly challenge work processes with the ambition to work even more efficiently in the long run.
Qualifications and experience:
To succeed in this position, we are looking for a person with a Bachelor´s degree in Accounting/Finance related field or have equivalent experience. For the period of several years, you have built a deep knowledge of procure to payment process work within account payable. You also have an overall knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
You are an advanced MS Office user, together with accounting software and databases where you are used to managing large amounts of data. Naturally, you are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Other language skills will give the right candidate an advantage in the daily work even if the corporate language is English.
