Within the Swedish Common Shared Service Finance, Hitachi Energy is looking for an AP Specialist to join the team in Västerås, the Finance Front Office for Sweden and Denmark. The AP/AR team handles cash collection and support the local business partners in AP/AR related tasks. With our combined experience and expertise, we strive for a spirit of collaboration and trust with other functions and the local business units.
As part of our growth strategy, Hitachi Energy is currently engaged in a multi-year project to upgrade the core ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA, standardize the IT application landscape and digitize the business processes to meet the needs of the expanding business. We are looking for you who have a big interest in contributing to this changing environment.
As an AP Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our business partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conformance to related tasks. We are looking for a variety of people to join the organization, therefore we are flexible and open to shaping your responsibilities according to your interests, while following the global rules and regulations.
Your Responsibilities
Speaking partner to local business partners, AP and GTS.
Building relationships with factories and SCM
Lead and drive country relevant improvements related to AP processes.
Train and onboard relevant AP topics for processes, applications and ERP in the country
Support HR Team to drive Travel/AMEX policy in the country.
Back up for AR tasks to support the team.
Your background
Degree from relevant field
Previous experience working with AP/AR, ideally experience of working in a multinational environment with different interfaces.
Good knowledge of SAP and MS Excel is preferred.
Balance of hands-on capabilities as well as good perspective of full picture.
Swedish is considered an advantage, however, fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
Strong communication skills
Organizational and coordination skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good understanding of financial accounting, reporting and internal control is a plus.
