Job description:

As a Channel Account Manager at Acer you are responsible for selling our products to Resellers and Distributors in Sweden and therefore you are frequently ‘on the road’. You have your own set of customers. Your task is to extend this customer base.

To make sure you fulfil this job in a good manner, you will need to have an assertive, no-nonsense and flexible attitude in combination with a high level of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

- In your job as Account Manager you are Acer’s ‘business card’
- You follow the developments and changes in the market and from the competition.
- You have experience and knowledge in the IT and are therefore of strategical value for the sale of Acer products.
- Customers see you as a partner with whom they have a very good and reliable contact.

You are able to:

- Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior level decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts that may include major strategic customers within a geographic or industry focus.
- Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities
- See chances on the market and create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers
- Achieve the quarterly targets set by the company, such as revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account and margin targets by ensuring that products are sold with a decent margin etc.
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies.
- Extend the customer base to enlarge Acer’s market share
- Work accurately, timely and effectively with the Acer designated systems.

- Prepare customer visit reports, analytical/statistical reports to identify and understand customer demands, stock and pricing issues etc.

Job demands:

- Degree or professionally qualified
- Extensive channel oriented experience in B2B/distributors/resellers. Experience in the education channel is a preference
- Experience (at least 5 years) and affinity with the products of Acer or comparable products is a must
