We are looking for an Acting Leadership and Competence developer IKEA Distribution North Europe

We are now looking for our new acting Leadership and Competence Developer.

Your main focus areas will be:

- Carry out agreed Leadership and Competence development activities.
- Support co-workers professional and personal development according to identified development needs.
- Take ownership and develop the working tools within the area
- Act as Leadership Coach.
- Create commitment and contribute to a positive work environment within the DS area.
- Projects/tasks related to leadership and competence development.

The challenge of the job:

- Secure the process of identifying Leadership and Competence development needs from an individual and organizational perspective
- Map the competence needs for the DS area long and short term
- Create target-group specific development plans and support the follow up
- Communicate the learning and development opportunities
- Secure follow up & communication of all development activities (key figures, budget, Return on investments etc.)
- Contribute to the development of learning methods & activities within the DS area and DS global
- Facilitate use of internal development tools by also being an internal trainer for the DS area and for IKEA

You are our candidate if you have:

- University degree (Social, Pedagogic, HR or similar) or equivalent working experience
- Minimum two years of experience as trainer, facilitator or coach
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to communicate, inspire and develop
- The ability and motivation to enable change
- The ability to build trustful relations
- Passion for developing Business and People together
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written

You will report to the DS HR Area Manager

Location: Within DS North Europe (Warsaw, Moscow, Peterborough, Torsvik or Älmhult).

The position is time limited to appr. 15 months with the possibility to become permanent.

IKEA Distribution Services North Europe is a part of IKEA´s Supply Chain and is responsible for the distribution of the IKEA range to customers and stores in Northern Europe. We have five distribution centers located in United Kingdom (Doncaster), Sweden (Älmhult and Torsvik), Poland (Jarosty) and Russia (Esipovo). In Torsvik and Peterborough we also have customer distribution centers (CDC) which deliver IKEA products directly to the customers in the Nordic countries, UK and Ireland.
