Connectivity at Scania is one of the keys in Scania “driving the shift” strategy. At EC we work with the enabling solutions with a span from OnBoard, via Telecom to the Scania OffBoard platform.
ECCP is providing the infrastructure enabling connectivity and the work is divided into teams. The group has the system ownership of all variants of the connectivity module.
The current manager for the group ECCP is going on parental leave February 17 to August 2020 and we are looking for an acting manager during that time. Why not join us to continue to create the greatest commercial connectivity solution in the world?
What you will do
As a manager the main focus is to handle personnel related tasks and foster the team spirit.
There are many ongoing projects where ECCP is the power sponsor that need engagement from the acting manager: the EC Cloud Project, PCOP, CM4, China6, ERA Glonass and Toll Collect. ECCP is also participating in projects such as OTA, LYNX and run platform refactor activities apart from the projects mentioned above.
The strategy of connectivity at Scania and a global trend change will influence what you will do and it includes: the Teleom Network strategy, local data protection laws, Intelligence Transport Ssystems and Autonomy Transport Solution application puts new requirements on latency, bandwidth and QoS that drives the need to evolve the connectivity infrastructure.
The main topics during the acting period will be personnel and team related, to kick off the new connectivity module project and handle other ongoing projects such as Chinese regulation conformance. The great management team at EC will help you.
Who you are
We are looking for an experienced manager or engineer. You have a coaching leadership with a touch of “let’s do it”. You like to see the bigger picture and you enjoy sharing your view with others. Knowledge of the electrical system at Scania is a huge advantage. You take responsibility for what you do and communicating in English and Swedish is easy for you.
