With the mission to continuously keeping our service levels high and in balance with stock and cost levels, we’re now looking for a truly responsive Regional Planning & Logistics Manager to join us in a temporary position for about 14 months. Your mission – generating efficient logistics planning
In this highly operative position, you interact within region EMEACIS to drive our sales and operations planning process; enabling us to balance our service levels with our cost and inventory levels for our warehouses in our regions. You will also be responsible of the order management towards our core network. You spot trends and analyze data in a state-of-the-art planning tool, and you undertake weekly operational plans with consideration to KPIs such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, warehouse inventory levels and net working capital.
Closely collaborating with our global partners and being a core sounding board for our sales organization is a major part of your responsibility, and you make sure that we incorporate team spirit in everything we do. As a true people manager and a role model committed to Sandvik Core Values, you lead by example and inspire and coach your team and the organization to keep developing. 
This position is based at our headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Under normal circumstances travel is included in your job.
Your character – an analytical and collaborative planner with a strategic mindset
We’re looking for someone with at least five years’ experience from working with supply chain planning, and it’s beneficial if you have proven your ability to lead teams and the way forward in previous assignments. You have advanced knowledge of using Excel for forecasting and production planning and you’ll get good use of any additional skills in Logility Voyager Planning system. Experience from conducting analysis, spotting trends and planning based on relevant findings is advantageous. As we’re a global player, you need excellent skills in written and verbal English, and we wish that you’re also skilled in Swedish. A university degree in a relevant field is also required.
