The Embassy of Belgium in Stockholm is hiring a full time qualified administrative and accounting assistant

You will be responsible for accounting matters and diverse administrative tasks and will work under the direct supervision of the Consul.

The position will be vacant from June 15th 2020 on.

Main tasks
- follow up on all payments (rent, salaries, invoices from suppliers, .);
- register the payments and incomes in Accounting (IT application developed by the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs);
- prepare accounting reports on a monthly basis for the MFA HQ in Brussels;
- be in contact with Belgian and Swedish administration agencies, contractors and suppliers;
- provide administrative support in the realm of office management, communication or consular support.

Qualifications
- very good to excellent written and oral knowledge of French or Dutch, Swedish and English;
- good knowledge of the Swedish administration agencies;
- good computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel), and be a quick learner of new IT-programs;
- precision and accuracy, flexibility and initiative, discretion, and the commitment to work as part of a small team;
- able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining precision;
- working experience in the area of finance and administration is an asset, as well as a basic knowledge of the functioning of the Belgian state.
