ABOUT MIDA:
The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) is a Malaysian Government agency under the Ministry of International Trade & Industry with the core focus to attract Foreign Direct Investments in the manufacturing and services sectors into Malaysia. Having presence worldwide, MIDA in Stockholm covers the Nordic region.
We are now looking for a highly motivated, positive and experienced Administrative Assistant that will be a key member to support the office’s administrative duties.
ABOUT MIDA STOCKHOLM
Manage investment promotion programs and activities to promote foreign investments in the manufacturing and services sectors from the Nordic Region into Malaysia.
Area of coverage: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Financial and Budgeting Management – Maintain and manage financial activities of the office which includes preparations of payroll, tax payment, payment vouchers, receivables, reviewing expenses and forecasting quarterly budget and preparations for financial statements.
· Correspondence management – To answer and manage official calls and correspondence as well as general enquiries.
· Seminars, Briefing, Meetings and Events etc. – Assist arrangement and preparation of internal meetings and networking events including greeting guests, coordinating logistics, catering, agendas and tracking action points
· Travel Support- Assist arrangements for flights, accommodation, transfers
· General Admin Support –Maintain and Manage office filing system & database, inventories, office assets & supplies and other ad hoc administrative matters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· High School Diploma or equivalent in any discipline
· Minimum 3 – 5 years’ relevant working experience
· Fluent in English, Swedish (spoken and written). Knowledge in Malay language will be an advantage
· Excellent communication, time management skills
· Excellent IT skills especially in Microsoft Office & Excel
· Proactive team player with positive attitude
· High level of discretion, interpersonal skills, good judgement and tact
· Possess a valid working permit (for non-citizen)
· Willing to work overtime and weekends
