Job description
Perido is looking for an Administrative Assistant for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their office in Solna but after introduction you’ll be able to work from home at 50%.
In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You’ll have your base at the library and provide general administrative support like:
Manage the incoming mail and email for the library inboxes
Take part in maintenance of the library records, including the technical service activities related to cataloguing and processing the library collection
Collect statistics and keep accurate records from the different services and activities provided by the library;
Provide support to loan service, inter library loans service, and selective dissemination of information service;
Keep track of the submitted requests by the library patrons
Provide support in the elaboration of manuals for the tools and services used in the library;
Take part in the internal marketing, promoting library products and services
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor

To be successful in this role you need organisational and administrative skills as well as a good sense of confidentiality and discretion. You’ve got a high level of responsibility and ability to take initiative as well as you’ve got a high level of service orientation. You also have the ability to work under pressure and have experience in organising and prioritising work accordingly. Furthermore, we believe that you enjoy building relationships and communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources.

Required qualifications:
Post-secondary education and relevant professional experience
Proven experience as an administrative assistant/secretary, preferable in a multicultural working environment
Excellent skills in preparing correspondence and other documentation
Good numerical skills
Good experience using spreadsheets, tables of figures and basic financial planning skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Contract type and hours
Fulltime. Start as soon as possible. Assignment length is until 2020-12-31 with a possibility of extension.
