Job description
Perido is looking for an Administrative Assistent for our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is placed at their office in Stockholm.
In this assignment you will take on a broad and exciting role that offers an ever-changing workday. You will (among other things) provide general administrative support like:
Calendar and meeting coordination: schedule meetings, send invitations, take minutes of meeting;
Document and information coordination: track the flow of documents, ensure deadlines are met for requests for information, assist the meeting organiser in drafting and sending the invitation and programme, coordinate, follow-up and distribute meeting related documents
financial planning and coordination: assist the meeting organiser in planning, preparing and submitting the budgetary commitment for approval
Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor
To be successful in this role you need organisational and administrative skills as well as a good sense of confidentiality and discretion. You’ve got a high level of responsibility and ability to take initiative as well as you’ve got a high level of service orientation. You also have the ability to work under pressure and have experience in organising and prioritising work accordingly. Furthermore we believe that you enjoy building relationships and communicate with team members, colleagues and external resources. Required qualifications:
Post-secondary education and relevant professional experience.
Proven experience as an administrative assistant/secretary, preferable in a multicultural working environment;
Excellent skills in preparing correspondence and other documentation;
Good numerical skills;
Good experience using spreadsheets, tables of figures and basic financial planning skills;
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook);
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Contract type and hours
Fulltime. Start as soon as possible until the end of May/June with a possibility for extension.
