Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) is one of four schools within Jönköping University.

JIBS’ mission is to advance the theory and practice of business, with a specific emphasis on Entrepreneurship, Ownership, and Renewal.

Three simple principles guide what we do: International at Heart, Entrepreneurial in Mind and Responsible in Action. JIBS offers Bachelor, Master and PhD-level studies in Business Administration, Economics, Informatics, and Statistics. Since 2013, JIBS co-operates on the master and PhD levels with universities in Ethiopia and Rwanda, and since 2017 also in Mozambique. JIBS has approximately 130 faculty members and staff, 1700 full-time students, including international exchange students, and 60 active PhD candidates. JIBS is double accredited by EQUIS and AACSB.

We are looking for an experienced, structured and service minded administrator to join our operations team at JIBS.

 

OUR OFFER TO YOU

The position involves administrative support to various parts in a stimulating and highly international workplace.

The overall tasks for the position include, (however, not limited to):

- providing administrative support to different functions;
- organizing meetings, supporting faculty and PhD candidates with travels, accommodation, and allowances including general enquiries from internal and external actors;
- administrative support for conferences, symposia, seminars, and workshops organized by faculty colleagues;
- administrative and practical support for matters related to dissertations.

No travels are required.

 

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is structured and enjoys working in an international and dynamic atmosphere. You have diversity awareness and high integrity, which is combined with quality awareness. You are flexible and can deal with unexpected problems or tasks effectively and with a positive and service minded attitude you will fit our team perfectly.

To be eligible for the position you have: 

- high school education;
- a couple of years administrative experience (or what the employer considers as equivalent);
- experience in the MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint and Excel);
- fluency in written and spoken English and Swedish

Focus will be placed on the person’s aptness to the organization, and personal qualities.

This position is permanent and full-time, starting August 15, 2021 or as agreed upon.
