About the position
Perido is looking for an Administrator for a position at one of our clients, a major company and well-known name in the automotive industry. This is a full-time position situated at the company’s Global Export Controls Office in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As a member of the Global Export Controls Office, you will have the opportunity to use your passion and expertise in export controls to ensure that all of the company’s worldwide business activities are compliant with current regulations. As an integral part of the global team, you will be supported in providing the necessary knowledge and skills to achieve this goal.
In this role, you will focus on export control classifications and related processes to help the company to comply with export control laws. You will work closely with various internal functions, such as R&D and Procurement, as well as external suppliers to gather the necessary data and information to properly classify items for export. To summarize, this is what you’ll be working with:
Secure the identification and classification of products and components according to the Company’s processes
Work closely with business functions and third parties to obtain necessary information
Support classifications with justifications and proper record keeping
Document classification in applicable IT system
Responsible for following all documented processes or provide insight with ways for improvement
Your characteristics
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork. In this role, it will be important that you are able to manage your workload and meet deadlines by organizing and prioritizing your work in a dynamic and complex environment. You should also have a structured approach, be quality conscious, and have good documentation skills. The ability to work well both individually and as part of a team is essential. Your strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners will be valuable assets in this role.

Qualifications:
Technical education at university level or equivalent experience.
Background from trade, knowledge from ECCN classification preferred but not mandatory
Great IT-skills
Excellent communication skills in speech and writing, in English
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment through Perido until 2023-06-30. Start as soon as possible.
