RESPONSIBILITY:
The Admissions team manages all administrative tasks related to the admissions process to full-time and part-time YH & diploma programs in Sweden. This includes administrative duties within the YH recruitment and admissions process as well as international student admissions and student sales.
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative tasks connected to the Student Recruitments admissions and sales activity throughout the year. Their role is to assure quality and compliance with Myndigheten of Yrkeshögskolan rules. As an Admission Coordinator you work closely with the Admission Manager, who manages and is operationally responsible to assess, admit, support and onboard Nordic students.
Responsibilities & Tasks
International students
- Managing contracts to international students
- Host Digital Admission Days with Admission Manager
- Send Digital Admission Day schedules & arrange callbacks with Admissions Manager
- Migration Agency documentation and contact person
- International recruitment initiatives
YH Admission - Responsible for admissions yearly schedule and booking of stakeholders together with the Admission Manger.
- Coordinate, plan and attend admissions application review days with Admissions Manager
- Support creation and management of the applicant masterdoc.
- Create schedules for Admissions Days and Digital Admissions Days
- Support script merges and calibration and reserve list management in the application system
- SCB reporting
- Assure quality and compliance with “Myndigheten av Yrkeshögskolan” rules
Other duties
- Answer incoming support messages from applicants
- Nurture relationships to inspire, inform and convert leads into customers
- Host open houses event onsite and online and represent Hyper Island and our programs
- Book and attend fairs and school visits to promote Hyper Island`s programs.
Experience and competence
- Previous work experience from sales, administration, customer service.
- Very organised with good attention to detail - this is crucial for this position
- Ability to work on your feet and quickly make decisions and pivot, often during live sessions.
- Confident facilitating & presenting groups up to 100 people (online & in-person) - you will very often find yourself leading presentations and active sessions, so please be ready for this!
- Ability to develop and nurture long term relationships.
- Good ability in Swedish, excellent ability in English - you will be speaking and writing mostly in English, but there is significant overlap with Swedish governmental agencies and you must be able to read and communicate in bureaucratic Swedish
Terms
You will work very closely with the Admission Manager and report to the Director of Student Recruitment.
Start date: 1st of March
Terms: This is temporary employment until 31st of August.
Location: Stockholm
