The Admissions Officer is one of the first contacts for parents enrolling their children in the school. This member of staff facilitates and provides the bureaucratic processes for the enrollment process. Ensure that parents and students are fully informed about the functioning of the school, provide all relevant information and ensures that all transition processes are administered up to the point of arrival.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Admissions Officer is responsible for the following:
• The process of communication with parents and prospective students.
• Collection of all relevant data as part of the enrolment process.
• Data entry.
• Preparation of information for prospective parents and students.
• Organization of school tours for prospective parents and students.
• Ensuring that all information conveyed to prospective parents and students is accurate.
• Preparation of academic transcripts for past and present students.
• Generation of statistical information from the database as requested by the administration.
• Preparation of welcome packs for students at the beginning of each school term in cooperation with the School Secretary
• Regularly updating class lists and group lists
• Overseeing the sending of Christmas cards to important contacts such as embassies etc
• Providing assistance to the Business Office
• Any other task assigned




Qualifications, Attributes and Experience

The Admissions Officer is expected to have:

? Strong organisational skills (able to self-manage time and meet commitments on time).

? A university Degree

? Strong IT skills.

? Attention to detail

? The ability to work well under pressure

? Excellent communication skills (liaising with parents, teachers, students and administrators).

? Be proficient in written and spoken English. Swedish is an advantage.

? The ability to show initiative and work independently.

? The ability to work as part of a team.

? A pleasant and friendly personality
