As a vital member of the Advanced Analytics team within the Industrial Digitalization department, you'll actively participate in cross-global engagement and collaboration with colleagues. About the position
You will be an essential part of the agile Advanced Analytics group within the Industrial Digitalization team. Working closely with your teammates, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our short and long term priorities and driving their successful execution. Your role will have a global reach, involving meaningful interactions with stakeholders across various sectors of the company.

This involves proactively identifying areas of potential growth, engaging with our peers, and fostering collaborations with external partners, including academic institutions. Responsibilities
- Develop process control solutions that align with organizational objectives
- Assist stakeholders by offering analytical insights to particular problem statements
- Oversee the implementation and progress of control enhancements for various processes
- Integrate data, statistical techniques, and expertise from subject matter experts to deliver actionable value to the business
- Play a role in shaping the future roadmap for Advanced Analytics, Advanced Process Control, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Qualifications
- MSc in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Fundamental grasp of statistics
- Basic understanding of modeling principles
- Process control/Automation knowledge
- Proficiency in Matlab/Python programming or equivalent
- Problem-solving orientation with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong communication abilities
Bonus points for:
- Background in the chemical industry or petrochemicals
- Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
