Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer for assignment in Västerås

ValueOne is looking for an Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer for a 6 months assignment at a company in Västerås. For the right person there is a strong possibility for a permanent employment after completed assignment.

The role

For this position we are looking for a specialist within PCBA, quality assurance and supplier management. The role implies working in the company´s Product Delivery Platform where you will support, among other tasks, on sample approval, APQP, new supplier/ new part sourcing and involvement.

You are reporting directly to the Global supplier quality development manager who is based outside Sweden. Therefore, fluency in English is a must for this position.

Main responsibilities:

NPI project, APQP and PDPSupport on sample approval.New supplier/part sourcing.Engage in Early Supplier involvement.System and Process audit and perform supplier qualification.·Work as the driver for related QIP items.Support on SQE for supplier PPM/OTD improvement.

Experience and competencies

To be considered for the assignment you need to be an expert on electronic parts and PCBA:s as well as in APQP and PPAP and ISO 9001:2015. The role also requires a bbachelor’s degree in Electrical , Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or higher degrees along with over 5 years of working experience as Supplier Quality Engineer (for NPI project). Experience with System and Process audit is important for the role and you must have knowledge of sheet metal, standard and plastic parts. Experience from IATF 16949 and VDA is highly recommended.
