AE Test & Prototype Operations (TnPO) Manager

Member of the TnPO Sweden Management Team. Manage all Technology Platform Test Engineers work due to VCE strategy and goals. Directly manage all Technology Platform Test Engineers work for both Projects, AE, PM, internal & external within the Eskilstuna site. Core Responsibilities Responsible for all Technology Platform Test Engineer resources within Eskilstuna site Fully collaborates with TnPO Managers and other Volvo CE sites (synergies, resources, best practices etc) Follows the TnPO strategy for the applicable site Support improvement strategies & provides suitable resources to implement these efficiencies (VPS, QDC, 5S, etc) Supports AE TnPO Field testing and RG testing with adequate personnel and competence Drives and supports all AE TnPO synergies & efficiencies Develop TnPO resources, thus providing suitable training/mentorship where applicable Follow budget outlined by TnPO Sweden Manager Minimum Years of Experience Required and Minimum Education Required BSc or equivalent within Engineering area or similar 3-5 years of experience of managing at Volvo A working knowledge of quality & efficiency improvement tools such as VPS, QDC, 5S Fluent English, spoken and written
