Your Role
Do you want to design next generation's aircraft? We are now looking for you who wants to be part of the team that designs and analyzes the propulsion system, i.e. air intake, engine/gas turbine and engine exhaust, for the next generation of fighter aircraft. You will be part of a team with experienced colleagues within aerodynamic design, gas turbine technology and performance as well as related modelling and methodology development.
Your Profile
You have a Master or Licentiate/PhD degree. You have experience in fluid dynamics/CFD and/or gas turbine technology and performance. You are an analytic person, you like to work with complex problems and find it interesting to do comprehensive and deep analyses. You like to work in a team and you are a good collaborator, you take initiative and drive your own work.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of the Propulsion department at Saab Aeronautics. The department is responsible for the propulsion system in Saab's own aerial vehicles. The department has about 20 employees within different professions such as computational engineers, system engineers and software engineers. The team develops much of its own methodology and are involved in several research initiatives.
