The International School of Helsingborg has provided a truly international education at the Primary and Secondary levels since 1995. Today, we have approximately 850 students between 2 and 19 years of age, across all programmes. We are an IB Continuum school, delivering the International Baccalaureate curriculum for all program levels. English is the primary language of learning at the school.

Job description
As a Fritids leader, your role in addition to working in the Fritids (After School Care) program in the afternoons, will be to coordinate the administrative portion of our Fritids program as well as to coordinate schedules for Fritids personnel and organise and monitor activities for the students, ages 6-11 in the fritids program. You will work with a team of 15-18 Fritids colleagues and will be expected to interact with the students in a caring manner. You will be expected to lead a group of students with positive behavior management techniques. You will be expected to work together in a team with the fritids colleagues in order to develop engaging learning opportunities for the students. 

The position is 100% and could be combined with student support or class support during the school day.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate that has a degree or certificate within the field of education.

The candidate will be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

The successful candidate will also have at least two years of experience from working with groups of kids in the ages 6-11 in an after school care group or other child-centered activity. In addition, experience with planning and administration experience will be important.

We are looking for someone who works well in a team. The person must be positive, open minded and flexible. When working with the students, colleagues or parents, he/she will be firm, but kind. He/She will take the time to get to know the students and speak with them, listening to them and creating relationships with them. He/she will take initiative within organising activities and help to make fritids a place where students feel safe to develop integrally.
