In the team, Performance and testing, we work with calibrate and adapt our engines optimal with focus on performance, fuel consumption, emission fulfilment and aftertreatment system. These different part is then balanced to fit into a wide spectre of customer demands and to contribute to Scania sustainable targets and reduce our climate impact.

Your role
As an aftertreatment calibration engineer you will get an unique opportunity to apply and develop your understanding and knowledge of the engine, the aftertreatment system, control system and hardware. You will work in a dedicated team with both engineers, sales and aftermarket support in close contact with the end customer.

You will mainly work with Scania´s own engine control system. Your focus will be on performance and diagnostic calibration of the aftertreatment system, ensuring fulfilment of legal requirements. The calibration is carried out mainly in our own engine test cells, but also in vehicles and special rigs. Work on customer machines is also possible. You will be required to carry out analysis of data from test cell and field trial machines, and provide product support for the sales and aftermarket organization.

Your profile
We expect you have a master degree or comparable education within engineering and 3-5 years of experience of diesel engine calibration. You have good knowledge in INCA, Creta, vision. C-programming experience is a plus.

In order to be successful as an aftertreatment calibration engineer you should be motivated, be willing to take initiative and have good communication skills. You are enthusiastic and willing to learn, actively seeking the information that is needed to perform the work. We work with high expectations from our customers which demands a combination of structure and  flexibility in your work. 

You are fluent in English and Swedish, have a technical degree or have acquired the corresponding competence through work experience. Experience in engine calibration for diesel engines is advantageous.
