We are looking for an experienced, talented Agile Coach to join the Candy Crush Soda Saga team. As an Agile Coach, your mission is to remove roadblocks, solve process issues, and enable us to continuously improve our efficiency and productivity. We work to create and improve on social casual games that entertain millions of players, and it’s up to the teams to create, design, architect, and build high- quality, fun games. Your role is to make sure the organization runs smoothly, identify and clear bottlenecks, and drive process changes that serve the team and our players. We are eager for this role to contribute to delivery of one of the world’s largest mobile games to our extensive player base.
Your role will be to analyze, visualize, & continuously improve the Soda organization, ensuring the communities (constellations of teams), organization, & team run efficiently and at a sustainable pace. You will help to identify bottlenecks, increase the flow of product delivery, and focus on supporting leaders and communities to deliver. The person in this role will care about and focus on high effectiveness, efficiency, and engagement for the Soda team. They will also have tactics at hand to help facilitate custom solutions and better ways of working. You are a systems thinker and care about people; you know how to coach and motivate them, and have the ability to empower them to deliver in our high performing environment.
Your role within our Kingdom
Support the leadership team to create the most exciting, fun, and profitable game.
Partner with the Head of Game Development, Senior Producers, and Craft Directors to assess and improve team structure and ways of working across all of Soda (and in feature teams as needed.)
Lead initiatives to measurable improve ways of working, production processes, and product flow effectiveness.
Share organizational structure and development practices to deliver sustainable continuous improvement within feature teams and the whole Soda organization.
Drive continuous improvement activities and enable the team to look for efficiencies, shift their mindset and evolve the way they operate as individuals, in teams and as leads.
Facilitate learning through workshops, meetings, offsites, etc.
Encourage healthy, open, and positive communications and feedback culture.
Coach group dynamics and collaboration while encouraging strategic focus time.
Work with Craft Directors and Senior Producers on conflict resolution, change management, engagement, and development.
Skills to create thrills
Extensive experience as an Agile Coach, Development Director, or Organization Design Expert
Ability to meet people, teams, and organization where they are to generate new insights about effectiveness, collaboration, etc.
Solid facilitation skills with the ability to work across diverse perspectives.
Experience in successful delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and leading organizational change.
Knowledge of product development Lean and Agile principles and mindset.
Proven ability to champion and sustain a culture of safe learning and feedback.
Passion to create a great place to work for everyone around you.
Bonus Points
Good understanding of the game/product development process.
Experience in coaching teams.
