Agile Coach to Cepheid

Cepheid is a leading molecular diagnostics company that is dedicated to improving healthcare by developing, manufacturing, and marketing accurate yet easy-to-use molecular systems and tests. In our facilities in Solna we develop and manufacture diagnostics tests that improve patient outcome all over the world.

The role
Software Engineering and Software Quality work in cross-functional agile scrum teams developing and testing cloud services for disease surveillance and systems administration in the diagnostics area. As an Agile Coach you will manage and organize the Scrum framework and teach, coach, and mentor the organization in agile practices. The position also includes project organization work.

Cepheid C360 is a cloud based software platform providing administrative and analytics support for Cepheid’s GeneXpert product family. It is important that you appreciate a fast-paced environment and that you have strong interpersonal and communicative skills to succeed in this role. To thrive in the role, we also believe that you are analytical, insightful and self-motivated.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to act as a servant leader for the scrum teams and managing the agile processes by creating a vision around the project to provide team members with a sense of purpose and direction. In your daily work you will foster a workplace atmosphere that helps bring out the best in all teams, by communicating with team members, including relaying briefs, connecting daily tasks to larger goals, and providing context and support. We also expect that you are ensuring that the teams remain focused and on track. As an agile coach you will also be responsible for tracking the team performance. This includes tracking appropriate KPI’s to monitor performance throughout the projects. Finally, your responsibility includes interacting with cross-functional stakeholders from SQA, Marketing, Service and support organizations, and project/program managers during the development and delivery of the product.


Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in field
- 4+ years of related work experience within software development processes
- A few years of experience with Agile/Scrum as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Delivery of agile practices in past projects
- Proven project management capabilities
- Fluent in English
