Who are we
At ART Side & Roof we are responsible for providing the best experience when getting in and out of the car and keeping it locked and secured. We do this through a mix of hardware and software teams that together make up high quality parts and seamless functionality.
Door Control, locking & Alarm (one of the 5 groups at ART Side and Roof) is now looking for an Agile Project Leader, to secure our project deliverables from our function teams. You will work closely to PO and TM.
What you will do
We are now looking for a senior engineer to lead the function teams through all phases of the development process in close collaboration with the PO and TM
Work proactively to enable project deliverables from the function teams. You will use your senior leadership and experience to remove problems, across teams and organizations, so that you, together with the team can deliver on the team's goals and aspiration
Collaborate with the product owner to develop and prioritize the product backlogs. Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies and ensure timely resolution
What you will do
Regularly reports overall project status to the teams and key stakeholders, escalating major issues as necessary.
Facilitates all Scrum ceremonies seeking to create a regular “Iteration Rhythm”.
Proactively identifies and helps to resolve issues that impact the achievement of team commitments.
Ensures the team is fully functional, cooperating, and productive.
Educational Background and Characteristics
Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience
2+ years working as a Scrum Master on software development projects.
Formal Scrum / Kanban and/or Project Management training.
We will be looking for the following skills:
· You enjoy learning from others, as well as, sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.
· Product development experience (both SW and HW) and good knowledge of Volvo Cars development process
· Organized, detail-orientated, and thorough.
· Strong planning skills – schedules, resource allocation, issue management, tracking, etc.
· Able to multitask.
· Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills as well as highly effective communication skills.
· Demonstrating Initiative
· Situational leadership.
