Agile Project Manager

Would you like to have key role in driving Axis Video Management Solutions forward? Do you have experience from working as a backlog owner, technical project manager or similar roles? Do you like the idea of working together with skilled DevOps teams and stakeholders to create world class video management systems using modern technologies? Axis Communications in Lund are now looking for an Agile Project Manager.

Who is your future team?
You will be part of the department responsible for development of Axis Video Management systems. This role is as project manager for five teams developing mainly cloud/back-end functionality for Axis Companion and Axis Camera Station.

The role is carried out in close collaboration with other Backlog Owners/Project managers/Product Owners, development teams and the management team responsible for Axis Video Management Systems.

What you will you do as Agile Project Manager:
You will play a key role in shaping our product development roadmap, ensuring that our development teams have a clear and organized backlog to work from.

You will work closely with 5 development teams and you will be responsible for planning and coordination of cross team activities, follow up progress and resolve dependencies and issues to ensure efficient development.

You will interact a lot with different stakeholders and other Project Managers / Backlog Owners to ensure you have all the information that you and the teams need to make the best decisions.

Important stakeholders are the product manager as well as team manager among others, with whom you will work closely to ensure that requirements, priority and scope are clear.

The responsibilities of the role include:

* Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is correctly prioritized and well-organized for efficient execution.
* Collaborate with other backlog owners to assure that requirements and dependencies are managed and aligned.
* Work closely with stakeholders on priorities and strategy
* Facilitate planning sessions.
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on backlog status, changes, and overall progress.
* Foster open communication and collaboration between different teams to ensure a smooth flow of work, timely deliveries, and effective problem-solving.
* Together with other colleagues drive continuous improvement of our development methodology and way of working.

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are looking for a talented and motivated Project Manager with a technical understanding of software development. You have an eye for prioritization and how to create conditions for successful product development.

We'd love to hear that you have/are:

* Work experience as a project manager/backlog owner/product owner or similar
* Strong understanding of agile methodologies and software development practices
* Master's degree in computer science, or other engineering background.
* Fluent in Swedish and English
* A genuine interest, talent and experience in leading people and projects
* Ability to motivate your teams, creating an open and innovative work environment.
* A strong technical interest
* As a person you are humble and emphatic in balance with the ability to negotiate and take decisions when needed
* You are an open-minded cooperative person, who builds positive relationships and think win-win.
