Magine is a cloud-based service for watching live, time shifted and recorded TV. Say goodbye to complicated set-ups and lock-in contracts with your existing cable operator and say hello to TV as it should be. We are a group of digital entrepreneurs; pay TV veterans and a world-class development team working out of Stockholm, Sweden. And we love TV!

Do you have the knack? The knack for wrecking things? We are building a TV streaming service and we have a metric ton of client applications for our service. These client applications need the detailed attention of a rockstar tester. We need someone who is independent and will take initiative.

What:

As mentioned above we have a bunch of client applications for our TV-streaming service. These clients run on even more variations of hardware. We do what we can to locate bugs but we just cannot keep up so this will be your battle field. You will be our client developer's new best friend. You will work in the team that develops our clients and you will be there every step of the way; from coming up with a more or less brilliant idea to making it a reality for the customer. You will enjoy the trust and the freedom to solve your tasks as you see fit.





Wishlist (Things we think we want but if you think you know better we'd be happy to hear your case):



Education:

We'd like to see that you have a post high school degree of some sort. A Bachelor of computer science is preferred. If you lack both of these but are in fact James Bach 2.0 we'd still like to see you.



Work experience:

. Test of mobile apps (iOS, Android)

. Test of SmartTV apps

. Usability testing

. Test automation

. Agile development (read: There is a lot to do and sometimes things change rapidly but you also enjoy unprecedented freedom in how to solve your tasks)

. If you know how to hack code in some way we sure won't hold it against you
