European Aeronautical Group/Navtech, Inc.has two vacancies in the Aircraft Performance Systems Department - Software Application Group The principal work for the Aircraft Performance Systems Department consist of calculating maximum take-off/landing weights and to secure safe procedures in case of an engine failure at the airports where our customers has got their operations.This is primarily performed using our in-house developed production tools, but a great deal of manual work is also part of the daily production.The daily work and responsibility areas consist of management and interpretation of aircraft manufacturers data, developing and maintaining our customized software and calculating maximum performance limitations for the aircrafts.The majority of the work is performed in close co-operation with our customers. Technical qualifications: Education in Aeronautical Engineering Experience of Airline Operations Experience of aircraft performance products Minimum college education is required, preferably Technical Science Programme or Natural Science Programme.Programming skills (such as C++, XML, .NET, Java etc.) is an absolute requirement since a considerable part of the work consist of development and management of software applications and databases.Experience of GSM, GPRS and similar mobile communication technology would be an advantage.
