Your role You are going to act as a part of an operational support team in a coming international AEW- (Airborne Early Warning) project headed by Saab Surveillance Systems. General description duties: As an aircraft technician/mechanic/electrician, you will join a team to perform scheduled and unscheduled line and base maintenance on two military Saab 340 AEW-aircrafts at a Customer base in the U.A.E. .[Troubleshoot, inspect, repair and maintain Saab 340 aircraft, engines, avionics, electrical systems and ground support equipment. .[Plan and document all maintenance actions as prescribed by established procedures .[Perform corrective actions on maintenance discrepancies .[Perform specialist assignments, which can be but are not limited to, flight line, base maintenance, aircraft repairs, maintenance planning, refuelling, performing maintenance pre-flights and post flights required. .[Perform acceptance inspections on components/equipment and assist the parts-stock .[Complete all maintenance records and logbooks as required. Your qualifications [.[Holder of Part-66B1&B2 or FAA A&P certificates .[Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures on the Saab 340 aircraft .[Advanced knowledge and use of technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, illustrated part catalouges, service bulletines, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, airworhtiness-notes etc) .[Good oral and written English language skills and solid written and oral communication skills. .[Ability to work with others in a team environment with an interest in sharing knowledge and experiences with others.[ .[Must be proficient in using computer based maintenance systems. .[Experience from quality work according to Military and/or Civil aviation standards .[Drivers license .[Must pass any Visa and security clearance requirements
