IBG are recruiting for qualified Airspace and Procedure Designers in Sweden to develop and deliver Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) design. This includes approach and departure procedures according to current International, Regional and National regulatory design standards and aircraft safety standards. We also strive in developing best practices and support in designing flight corridors for drone operations.

Working with us means not only addressing best practices for conventional airspace design but to lead the way for UAM designs with our team of researchers, developers, and experts as members of a project innovation team.The role includes you to be an active member of our UAM design, development and innovation team. You will design Airspace, Routes and Instrument Flight Procedures (IFP) according to ICAO PANS OPS and other Regional/National criteria. The role also required that you follow standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS) i.e. International, Regional & National regulations regarding IFP design. You will be responsible for design of safe, compliant, fly-able and publishable procedures and advise technically on all IFP and related issues including airport safe guarding, airport development and airspace design. You will also be responsible for forming good customer relationships, commercial sustainability, beneficial to business and customer, ensuring customer satisfaction and business viability. Other important parts of your role will be to Implement Quality Management System (QMS) and to participate in Quality control of all procedures and services. You will be responsible for delivery of projects/contracts as delegated and responsible to ensure the safety of all procedures and deliverables by compliance to the Safety Management System (SMS).



Din profil
For the role you need to have a few years’ experience as qualified Procedure Designer and be experienced in Air Traffic Control and Air Traffic Management. You have the ability to work in a team environment and a highly regulated industry and operational Aviation Experience and knowledge of co-ordinate systems and associated aeronautical data and information e.g. maps, charts and electronic drawings and lists.

Other qualifications:
• PANS OPS (ICAO Document 8168 Volume II) qualification/certificate from a recognized training establishment
• Mathematical background
• Instrument Flight Procedure design experience using ICAO criteria
• Qualifications and experience with Auto CAD, Bentley MicroStation software in a geographic drawing environment
• Geographic, survey, terrain and topographical data management and data handling in an aeronautical safety management environment (e.g. IFP design)
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
