GomSpace is looking to expand the Platform team in Uppsala, Sweden, with an AIT Engineer. You will have the opportunity to become part of an internationally oriented and dedicated team aiming at providing exceptional propulsion solutions for nanosatellites to customers on the global market.


The Job Incluces the Following Set of Tasks:
Participate in propulsion system assembly, integration, test and verification in a clean room environment, including preparation/verification of test setups
Carry out functional testing of propulsion hardware, including both acceptance testing as part of manufacturing and qualification testing as part of product development, in accordance with GomSpace’s quality procedures
Responsible for writing test procedures and assembly specification in accordance with GomSpace’s quality procedures together with systems engineers
Responsible for writing of test reports and inspection reports in accordance with GomSpace’s quality procedures.



We expect the Employee to Have the Following Qualifications:
Relevant technical education to at least a master’s degree
Previous experience from working with assembly, integration and tests in a lab environment
Ability to handle highly sensitive equipment
Experience and understanding of system level requirements and how they connect with test procedures and assembly specifications
Fluent in English on a professional level
Quality awareness – understanding the importance of following processes and documenting your work



Experience in the following areas is a plus:
Hand soldering
Programming in Python
National Instrument’s LabView or equivalent software
Previous experience from working in a cleanroom
Previous experience from operating test equipment such as thermal vacuum chambers and leak finders
Previous experience from conducting tests typical for the aerospace industry, such as vibration and shock, radiation testing of electronics, etc.
