Our Exciting Opportunity
Currently we have 3 open Developer roles with broad developer competence for the CRM Algorithms Function Control section placed in Stockholm and part of the global Algorithms Department.
The Algorithms Department consists of around 150 R&D professionals divided in 9 sections, covering from early phases where our technology area plans are settled, development of algorithms, deliveries for HW implementation, SW management, configuration and tuning support, all the way to maintenance of the products. This section consists of approximately 15 R&D professionals in Stockholm working with HW near radio algorithms development and integration for functions such as PIMC, UL and DL chains, CFR as well as DL test signal generation. The unit is responsible for the creation, evolution and maintenance of algorithms in those areas.
The algorithm functionality is realized in Hardware and Software, therefore both of these competences are equally important. You can put your emphasis on either one, but understanding the dependencies between HW and SW is essential. We believe, that a good knowledge in DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and RF (Radio Frequency) performance is a huge plus. Our functions directly impact the RF performance of the radio.
We are now looking for Developers to work with Modular Test Bed (MTB) Integration as well as design and maintaining test systems used for radio.
In this position you will work with the latest tools within Telecom, it will gain you a great network at Ericsson especially within production and design, it will be fun with a great team spirit and full speed ahead.
Our organization is using Lean and Agile ways of working. We coordinate multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge exchange is part of a daily work.
You will
Drive MTB development
Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
Develop and test high quality testbed
Provide troubleshooting and customer support
Initiate continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop and broaden competence in technical domain
To be successful in the role you must have
University degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Good knowledge in Wireless Communication systems
Good knowledge of RF- design
Good knowledge in Radio HW- and SW- troubleshooting
Good knowledge in Radio hardware and software Integration
Good programming skills(C#, Matlab, Vee)
Work experience in design of test systems
Experience working in Git
A minimum of three years’ experience of technical work within wireless communication systems and radio design
Good communication skills and social ability
Fluency in English (speaking and writing)
Related proficiencies:
Software development, functional systemization, knowledge of hardware functionality and embedded system.
RF and radio competence.
