As a Product manager at Ålö you will have the opportunity to drive the commercial success of our products throughout the entire life cycle - acting as product champion within the company together with our customers and other stakeholders. Your work will require teamwork and project management skills to bring R&D, Sales & Marketing colleagues together to work with purpose and urgency. This includes initiating new concepts, defining product requirements that drive development projects, launching new products, defining, and executing the product strategy, driving revenue via the sales team and obsoleting products from the market.
The role reports to Head of Brand and Product Quicke, Niklas Åström.
What you will be working with:
- Develop expert knowledge of market, competitors and customer needs to drive strategy and product positioning that will ensure strong growth.
- Develop launch plans in close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team.
- Develop product positioning, value propositions, and value based sales arguments in close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team.
- Monitor the success of new launched products. Analyze the effectiveness of recent projects.
Your qualifications:
- You are highly driven and structured in your approach to product management, you know how to turn goals and strategies into plans and actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field or other relevant experience with minimum 4-6 years of experience in product management.
- Advanced understanding of marketing concepts, product lifecycles, product positioning and financial analyses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to create and present materials appropriate to the level of audience.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
- Excellent organizational skills, including good interpersonal skills, flexibility and the ability to successfully work with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Previous experience and knowledge of agriculture and farming is a strong merit
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally.
