Alstom Power in Sweden is now looking for a Sourcing & Procurement Manager to the Thermal Service Business (TSNE SE).

Alstom Thermal Services in Sweden is engaged in marketing, sales, project management, estimation/design, development, production, installation and commissioning of their own and others' products to both the Swedish and the international market. Our service offers and products range from spare parts for rebuilding to modernization of power equipment and the entire power plants.

You will manage a team of highly qualified buyers who are located in Norrköping and Västerås.
The function is mainly responsible for the sourcing activities and input to tenders, commercial supplier qualification and performance evaluation as well as the supply of goods and services to projects. You manage the overall supply strategy and risk mitigation. Optimizing supply management processes also lays within the area of responsibility.


We believe that you have a degree in engineering or business degree or equivalent practical experience.You have worked at some years with supply management and have advanced skills in negotiation with suppliers. You have prior experience from other functions (e.g. engineering, project management).

As a person, you have high analytical skills and work in a structured manner. You are communicative and confident both in internal and external relationships. It?s positive if you have work experience from a multicultural and changing environment. Your English needs to be fluent and any other European language is a plus.

This position is located in Norrköping or Västerås.
