ALTEN VÄSTERÅS IS LOOKING FOR DEVOPS ARCHITECTS

ALTEN IT Västerås is now looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer or DevOps Architect ready to take the next step in their career. For this long-term assignment, you will play a major role in developing ALTEN’s growth and partnership with one of our biggest clients´ within the Transportation Industry. You will be responsible for coaching a team of skilled Software -and DevOps engineers at ALTEN and have a close collaboration with stakeholders, ALTEN IT Business Unit and ALTEN’s Technical Unit Management Team. Emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, technical knowledge and analytical skills.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Identifying business requirements of our client, negotiate and design interfaces together with external parties and stakeholders
- Set up of best practice processes and coaching the project teams
- Introduce Continuous Delivery into the teams
- Designing the entire DevOps environment from bottom to top (IoT/embedded – cloud) based on the client´s requirements
- Choosing the system architecture and each individual component of the chosen system
- SW test strategy, the enforcement of it and the creation and maintenance of test environments in which automated tests are executed
- Choosing the technologies for the implementation of each component and connections between the components
- Code review and controlling the architecture during iteration of system release
- Writing project documentation and its support

It is therefore required that you possess the following skills:

- Experience in DevOps in production environment
- Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Spinnaker, Helm)
- Experience in interface design in SOA, loosely coupled architecture at the enterprise level
- Experience in designing Micro Services
- Experience in Cloud Deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP, Openstack)
- Experience in Enterprise busses / API GW
- Experience in Test Automation
- Experience in IoT Architecture and software stacks
- Good command of the English language
- Master’s degree in science
