What to expect
You will join a DevOps team that, among other things, works with finding elegant solutions within development and support for R&D. We work close to our customers and are involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. The team is responsible for projects and maintenance of current and future IT services that support Scania’s processes.

You will play a central role in our DevOps team and will have many contacts around the Scania organisation. You will be involved in requirements, development, testing and release management. Together with the other teams, you will work in close cooperation with product and process owners on issues relating to functional guidelines – in both the short and long term.

Your profile
We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about agile working methods, loves development and enjoys the challenge of getting people and technology to function as a team to achieve optimal results. In a perfect world you are a DevOps Engineer with 2000 years of experience. Our focus is though, besides your skills, your remarkable personality. With us, you don’t need to put on a mask. Come as you are and be yourself!

We would also very much like if you have the interest and ability to handle technical coordination within our area. Scania uses the Dassault Systems application portfolio, knowledge and prior experience of the platform is an advantage. You need to be proficient in written and spoken English, since it’s our corporate language.

In addition, if you also have some of the following skills, we’ll make sure you’ll never have to worry about coffee or tea
• Commitment and motivation to work in an agile DevOps team.
• Good knowledge of Dassault Systems platform/configuration.
• Good knowledge in CI/CD.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux system administration.
• Good knowledge of Java Technologies including Tomcat/JSP.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Knowledge from using GitLab/Perforce and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of test automation.
• Technical coordination skills

As a person, we believe that you are results-oriented, organised and have good planning skills. You view continuous improvement as part of your daily work. You will also have good cooperative and communication skills. It is also important that you are able to take the initiative and work independently.

Location
Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje.
