Our Exciting Opportunity
Ericsson Group IT plays a vital role in the Public Cloud journey for Ericsson. Group IT is building the formal company-wide Public Cloud "Landing Zones" that both Ericsson's business areas as well as IT organizations can use for their consumption of cloud services. We are also moving the majority of our Enterprise IT applications to the Public Cloud.
We want to grow our organization that works with Public Cloud platforms and have already established Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) teams to increase our efficiency in developing and releasing new capabilities and services. We also want to create an organization characterized by expert knowledge, business value outcome, and innovation.
Are you up for a new challenge?
We are now looking for an AWS Onboarding Engineer to join our team!
You will
Be the face and the main contact for internal customers that are being on-boarded to the Ericsson AWS Landing Zone. This is a very important task in order to validate the reason for using public cloud, define the rules and capabilities of the Landing Zone, provision the rights to use it and make sure that the financial chargeback can propagate properly.
Be an integral part of the Public Cloud team at Group IT. In addition to providing on-boarding support to customers, you will be part of the general on-boarding process and procedure improvements, competence development and where applicable part of the Landing Zone development and testing.
Offer support and guidance after initial on-boarding
Play a key role in communicating about improvements and new functionality developed by the AWS Product Team and/or Landing zone team(s), and how it benefits the internal public cloud consumers.
To be successful in the role you must have
Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or a related technical field.
Relevant experience working with IT infrastructure and/or Cloud technologies.
Ability to handle stressful situations, without losing control.
Good communication skills and ability to engage and interact with customers at all levels, understanding their requirements and needs.
Additional Requirements
It is desirable that you have competence in general IT infrastructure capabilities such as network, compute and storage in order to see the difference to Public Cloud, or that you have already experience working with Public Clouds and would like to scale out with a broader scope.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps is a merit.
