Are you passionate about
scenario development and model management in Financial Crime Prevention?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Define typologies and risk requirements for our future scenario developments in transaction monitoring in our newly formed team, FCP Models & Tools, in the Group Financial Crime Prevention (GFCP) unit.
- You will work at the very start of the scenario development process until a TM-scenario or TM-model is launched in the transaction monitoring system, making sure that typology requirements are considered in the development, provide input to developers in the building phase of the scenario as well as providing input on prioritisation of developments and risk coverage calculations.
- Work, alongside other scenario developers, in the team to identify emerging risks that need to be translated into typologies and covered through TM-scenarios or TM-models.
- You will spread your knowledge around scenario development, emerging and existing risks to KYC Analysts and Investigators in the Group Financial Crime Prevention organisation through awareness raising- and training-sessions.
- Identify need for automation and how to make GFCP’s work and processes more effective through innovation and ideas. We encourage all team members to think of innovation and voice ideas that can help develop our future work.
- As model owners of all AFC-owned AML/CTF/Sanctions models you will collaborate with your team members to handle the model lifecycle of models such as TM-models and Customer Risk Classification models. Making sure that model documentation is up to date and keeping a dialogue with 2nd line units regarding validation of models as well as participate in handling validation findings.
What is needed in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as economics, political science, criminology etc.
- A minimum of 3 or 5 years’ experience from scenario development in transaction monitoring from a larger Swedish or Baltic bank.
- Knowledge in TM-typologies and how to translate those into scenario development requirements.
- Understanding in model ownership, model management and the model lifecycle regarding AML/CTF/Sanctions models.
- Skilled in creating model documentation and handling the model lifecycle in model management.
- Knowledge of navigating and working in visualisation tools. Preferably QlikSense.
- Be structured and experienced in mapping activities in Excel and SharePoint.
