AML Risk Manager – Risk Assessments & Advisory, Group Anti-Financial Crime

Risk Assessments and Advisory within Swedbank’s group function Anti-Financial Crime is responsible for establishing Swedbank’s general risk assessment, perform financial crime risk analysis and identify mitigating measures, and supporting and advising the business in complex matters surrounding ML/TF/FS. The position as an AML Risk Manager within Risk Assessments and Advisory is a specialist role for you who wants to work close to the business side with AML/CTF/FS. The job also includes to perform the bank´s general risk assessment and assure an effective risk management within AML/CTF/FS.

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Work in a global environment with colleagues in Sweden, Finland, USA, China and the Baltics

- Perform risk assessments and assure management of identified risks

- Together with experienced colleagues coordinate and drive projects within AML/CTF/FS

- Work close to the business with complex and challenging questions

- Participate in steering groups and projects to cater for Swedbank´s interests in the area

- Plan, create and execute internal trainings for relevant stakeholders in LC&I

- Advise and support Swedbank’s product and client organisation and senior management

- Cooperate with group functions and other business areas in the bank

- Actively participate in decision making committees for high-risk customers



What is needed in this role:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, law or equivalent

- Experience from working within the field of AML/CTF, financial sanctions and risk management in banking, other financial institutions, or competent authorities

- Deliver quality in a fast-paced environment with complex questions, products, and clients

- Be a positive, solution oriented and relation building team player

- Good communicative skills and the ability to express yourself, orally and in writing, in Swedish and English
